thinking about Yule

I have been thinking about new ways to get the word out about my lovely unique jewellery and its not easy it takes lots of time to get your name out there. I have also been thinking about Yule and getting some candle holders decorated with Green Men. I think these are very festive, with the silver and gold colourings reminiscent of frost on the leaves.  keep an eye out for some winter owl and hare designs very soon.
I also had a very special commission for a ring for 15 year old Olivia you can see it below ready to go with an inset picture of the ring. A very small ring, I was worried it would be too small, but it fits her perfectly

Fairs, Festivals and cabinets

there's not been a lot of time for blog updates - so hopefully we can do a bit of catching up now - been a busy few weeks, what with getting ready for and doing crafts fairs and a couple of Mind Body and Spirit Festivals, as well as getting my daughter ready to go off to a 3 week working holiday in Finland, stocking a cabinet in Pottergate Antiques and Collectables in Norwich, I will be doing a Thursday afternoon there each week from now on, do come and say hello. I am expecting an exciting delivery which will enable me to extend my range of jewellery for you all.
I had my stall at the Summer Solstice Festival at Tydd St Mary just across the border into Lincolnshire, was a great day, met some lovely people and even had some sales
here I am, in my medieval outfit

Fresh air, baby birds & spiders

A bit of a learning curve for me today - been spending most of the
day away from my workroom !! a bit of a change and trying to build a nice new website with some new software - although its nice and sunny out so been taking breaks to weed the garden borders, found a robins nest with two baby robins... well Percy the dog did (I had to send him in) and while digging saw plenty of mother spiders, carrying their pure white egg balls to safety away from my weeding efforts.

Getting Organised ... again !!!

I love a bargain - found loads of lovely old rustic pots in a charity shop, ideal for brushes, tools, paint and water, they are gonna look great on my work table and I'll always be organised now - never again will I lose another pair of tweezers or pliers that I just had in my hand a moment ago .... yeah right !!!
